Refund policy

At IndieFab, we take pride in the quality of our products and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes you may need to exchange or return an item, and we’re here to help.

1. Fabric Orders

  • Fabrics are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless received in a damaged condition.
  • If your fabric order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will assist you with a replacement.

2. Stitched Pieces (Excluding Fabrics)

a) Size Exchange

  • Available for stitched garments if the size doesn’t fit. You can easily raise a request here : https://indiefabstore.com/apps/return_prime
  • Must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Customers are responsible for return and exchange shipping costs.
  • Once the request is approved, we will arrange the pickup from your address.
  • Exchange requests after 12 days from delivery will not be accepted.
  • In case of an exchange, any applicable amount difference will be collected directly from the customer through Razorpay at the time of processing the exchange.

b) Return for Store Credit

  • If you're not satisfied with the item and do not wish to exchange sizes, you may request a return for store credit (in the form of a discount coupon).
  • For returns, the refund amount will be adjusted against a discount coupon issued to the customer. No monetary refund will be processed to the original payment method.

    Please note that in case of returns, an additional 5% will be deducted from the discount coupon value, as an extra 5% discount is already applied at the time of checkout.

  • Request must be made within 7 days of delivery.
  • Item must be in original condition with tags and packaging intact.
  • Once approved, we will arrange the pickup.
  • Store credit will be issued after we receive and inspect the item, and will be valid for 1 year.
  • Return shipping must be borne by the customer.
  • No returns accepted after 12 days of delivery.

c) Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged item:

  • An unboxing video (opening parcel video) is mandatory as proof.

  • The video must clearly show the sealed package being opened and the defect/damage visible.

  • Without an unboxing video, we will not be able to process the claim.

  • In such verified cases, we will initiate a refund in the form of store credit.

3. Dupattas (As Stitched Pieces)

  • Same policy as stitched garments applies.
  • Size exchange or store credit available within 7 days of delivery.
  • No returns or exchanges accepted after 12 days of delivery.

4. Refunds to Bank Account (If Applicable)

  • Refunds are only issued for defective products.
    In such cases, the amount reflects within 6–7 working days..

5. International Orders

  • No refunds or exchanges are allowed for international orders.
  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will provide a replacement.

General Conditions for All Returns & Exchanges

  • Items must be in original packaging, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if items do not meet policy conditions.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in the case of damaged items.
  • No returns or exchanges are accepted after 12 days from delivery.
  • Refunds are offered only as store credit or size exchange, unless otherwise specified.
